As your Health & Wellness Coach, I'll support, guide and inspire you. We'll focus on small and achievable steps towards your improved and healthier lifestyle. We'll work in partnership to make impactful changes in your life, in ways that align with your values and needs.
It's so important for this to be an enjoyable and rewarding journey. There'll be challenges along the way and I'll be there to help you prepare for these and navigate your way through. I'll encourage you to be accountable for the choices you make that affect your health and wellness.
I can also provide education and information about diet, exercise and lifestyle. However, our time together is most valuable for your when I'm coaching, rather than teaching. Check out the information on my social pages and ask me about some resources.
Working with a Health & Wellness Coach can benefit lots of different people. I coach a range of people on their individual health and wellness goals.
You may be looking for more energy or to take control of food cravings. You may be wanting to lose weight or gain muscle. You may be wanting to make diet or exercise changes and finding it challenging to do so.
If you're looking to make some changes but not sure where to start - then a program may be for you. The 4-week nutrition program can help make impactful changes in your energy and metabolic function, as well as inflammation and immunity.
It's critical to look after our own health and wellness, so we can be our best and be present for our family and friends. There are different appointment options available to suit your schedule. Appointments can be outside of business hours or on weekends.
Appointments can be held via phone or video. There's no need to spend time travelling to see me in person.
There are stand-alone coaching appointments that can be booked one at a time, at any frequency that suits you. If you prefer a set program to book into your busy calendar, check out the 4-week nutrition program. This includes weekly coaching appointments to maximise your achievements during the program.
Definitely not! As your Health & Wellness Coach, I'll help you with the direction and skills you need to improve and maintain your health and wellness on your own. I love to support my clients on their journey in the short-term. I also love seeing my clients take charge of their own healthier lifestyle into the future.
To make some improvements in one area of health and wellbeing, a minimum of four appointments is recommended. This may be four stand-alone appointments - every week or every other week. Alternatively, the 4-week nutrition program with weekly coaching appointments can help you make significant and positive changes.
If you have many areas of health and wellbeing you'd like to improve, it may take a little longer to work through all of these. Changes can be hard - it's difficult to make changes overnight. It takes time to change habits and see meaningful results. I'll take the time to understand your goals and challenges. I'll support you in setting achievable goals and navigating your challenges - resulting in a sustainable and healthier lifestyle.
Not at all. I'm focused on your health and every body is different. Different diets suit different people and different health goals. As your Health & Wellness Coach, I'll encourage eating real and fresh foods because these are most nutrient-dense and satisfying. Fake foods that have little-to-no nutritional value won't be encouraged.
My goal is to help as many people as I can to achieve their health goals. I don't push people in any way, and certainly not towards a strict way of eating or living. Personally, I've tried all sorts of diets and I completely understand that what we eat is a very individual choice and journey.
Valley Health Coaching was established in 2020 upon my completion of the Primal Health Coach Certification. This is an intense and thorough learning experience covering nutrition, exercise, lifestyle and much more. This certification course is a perfect blend of health science and coaching skills, with numerous progress exams, a final exam and practical assessments. I complete re-testing to retain this certification.
In addition, I've completed the top level of this certification - Level 2. This next-level course is all about coaching expertise. It was packed with workshop tutorials to put coaching skills into practice. It also had numerous progress exams, a final exam and practical assessments.
These transformative courses help me, help you with your health goals and vision for wellness.
Living primally is not a fad diet - it's a sustainable lifestyle based on ancestral principles and scientific research. The primal lifestyle is unpinned by human evolution and physiology. It focuses on the optimal diet, movement/exercise, environment and social interactions for humans.
Taking small steps toward living primally can make huge changes in your quality of life. Many people find that living primally has led to a more simple life with less stress and more clarity. It can help make space for what matters most to you in life.
